Our Advisory Groups

Young Professionals Advisory Group
During the 2007-2008 season, Orchestra Nova San Diego initiated several programs designed to reach out to Young Professionals in the Orchestra Nova San Diego, primarily through special social events before concerts.

The interest from many of the Young Professionals resulted in the formation of the Young Professionals Advisory Group to the Orchestra. The Advisory Group was briefed by Maestro Pak on his vision for the Orchestra, after which their suggestions for marketing to Young Professionals were offered.

Media Advisory Group
During the 2007-2008 season, the San Diego Chamber Orchestra initiated programs to focus on media coverage. One of the first of those programs was the formation of the Media Advisory Group, consisting of three media professionals from local television outlets.

The Media Advisory Group was briefed by Maestro Pak on his vision for the Orchestra, after which several discussions ensued about how we can reach the most effective media to get the Orchestra's vision/message out.

The result was a significant increase in the number of TV and radio appearances and print articles.
